The Stone Fish Studio Pottery artist Diane Heesom-Green: "Clay is of the earth and can change its costume depending on the stage setting. Clay is responsive to the inner state of the maker; while being moulded, it moulds the maker."

The rustic studio Paternoster Pottery offers decorative and functional ceramics handmade on site by local potter Gerhard van den Heever. He has specialized in traditional smoke-fired pots, hand basins, large bowls and tea/coffee sets.

The well known painter Jan Visser has held 37 one man shows and participated in more than 40 group shows since 1971. His works are represented in several private and public collections in South Africa and abroad. His private home hosts also his studio in Paternoster.
